Dr. Uché Blackstock and her twin sister, Oni Blackstock followed the path of their mother , Dr. Dale Blackstock, graduating from Harvard Medical School.

Not having the mentorship from her mother, who passed away while they were teenagers, Uché Blackstock was forced to see and face the realities of racism in medicine that met her in her career.
