Hello! My name is Aarsh, and I am a junior at CUNY Hunter College in New York City, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Media Studies with a specialization in Journalism, and a minor in International Relations. 

 

I work as a staff reporter at campus newspaper, The Envoy, where I write news features related to campus life, student activism, local governance, and daily ongoings of Hunter College and CUNY administration. My work has also appeared in other campus publications.

 

My 2022 investigative feature on undocumented immigrants’ struggles accessing healthcare in Jersey City, New Jersey was critically acclaimed. Originally published for The Arrow magazine, it made a brief appearance in DATELINE: CUNY, a site featuring some of the most distinguishable journalistic endeavors of CUNY students.

 

I am also an opinion writer at The Political Journal of Hunter College, where I work with content editors, analysts, and fellow writers to produce editorials about national and international politics.
